The Ideal Representative of Modern Man

January 14 is Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary. Today is National Youth Day. Vivekanandaji's thoughts and guidance, born 18 years ago today, the ideals and philosophy he gave to the youth are still relevant today. This beautiful article about Swami Vivekananda is presented today in the pen of Kandarp Patel with Pranam Saha. Thank you so much for sending Aksharnad.)
Swami Vivekananda is the ideal representative of modern man in India who has laid the groundwork for a logical understanding of Indian philosophy, supernatural thinking, spirituality and religion. Only if the 'brand value' is so big can the youth be attracted to it. Swami Vivekananda is the auspicious combination of 'Vivek + Anand' which has been seen in India after years of incarnations like Rama-Krishna. Taking the Indian ideology in its original form to the world, he hoisted the banner at the World Religions Conference in Chicago on July 20, 19, which the world still looks at with pride. He started talking on the subject of 'Religious Thoughts of Hindus' and as soon as it was over, Hinduism was revived.
Why is the flag of Indian culture still flying in the sky despite the destruction of cultures in the past? His glaring logic is well illustrated by being a representative against a true India that the world has forgotten.
‘Why is India still alive?’ - Swami Vivekananda's speech on this subject is back to breathe new life into the heart of every frustrated person.
“The night that pervades the ages seems to be dying out, the ordeal seems to be finally coming to an end, the lifeless corpse seems to be awakening; And far from the history and tradition that fails to peek into the darkness of the past, coming from there, resounding on the summit of the vast Himalayas of knowledge, devotion and karma, walking, soft, strong, we are still steadfast in our promises, as well as flowing in time. A gabby voice is coming towards us! And look, at the same time our motherland India is waking up from its slumber; Like a ripple of air flowing from the Himalayas, it is bringing life to its almost dead bones and muscles. Laziness flies away and only the blind cannot see, if not the conscious ones, knowing that our motherland is waking up from its long stronghold. Now no one can face it; It will never go away again, because that gigantic monster is roaring lazily on its feet. ”
The West is almost in turmoil, half-dead and has been decimated by political ambitions and social conspiracies. The springs of religion and spirituality still flow on this land to bring new life and new vitality to other peoples who have to rise up and make the world watery. A melody has arisen with full vigor. Which is the mantra of unity and that is why India is still alive, the flag of Vedic culture still flies on the vast expanse of the sky with full dignity, bondage and serenity.
“When I asked the Lord for strength,He gave me difficulties to cope with,When I asked the Lord for wisdom,He gave me strange puzzles of life,When I asked the Lord for pleasure,He showed me sad people,When I asked the Lord for wealth,He taught me to work hard and get opportunities,When I asked the Lord for peace of mind,He taught me to help those in trouble,”- Swami Vivekananda
A question from a question and answer session between Swami Vivekananda and his Belur Math disciples:
Disciple: How can India wake up again?
Swamiji: The dawn has come in the eastern sky and the sunrise is only a few times now. You support the wheel of his chariot with your shoulders. That is, reach out to people and give them advice on how to improve their situation, present the supreme truths in the scriptures in a simple form and in a popular way. Prove in their heart that you have as much right to religion as Brahmins have. Nothing is going to happen by sitting with limbs together, making people aware of their condition and saying, “Brothers! Get up, wake up, and stay focused. ”
- Kandarp Patel
Billing
“Ancient religions say that those who do not believe in God are atheists. Modern religion says that one who does not believe in himself is an atheist. ”
- Swami Vivekananda.
